Operation Threshold is an Iowa Community Action Agency proudly serving

 Black Hawk, Buchanan, and Grundy Counties.

The mission of Operation Threshold is to collaborate, educate, and provide services to help meet the basic needs of people and create opportunities for self-sufficiency.

Last year (FY 07), Operation Threshold served 6,719 families (17,029 individuals).

72% of the families served had income at or below 100% of the Federal poverty level (annual income of $20,000 for a family of four).

48% of families served were working.

32% of families received Social Security.

Donations can be dropped off at Operation Threshold. We accept checks, money orders and cash. Please do not send cash in the mail. Operation Threshold is a 501(c)3 tax exempt nonprofit. Your donations to the agency are tax deductible.
